No Parking

If you told me a year ago that I would be wearing denim on denim I probably would have laughed hysterically. I didn't ever wear jeans, much less a denim button down with it, but taste can change, and I love this chambray on dark rise denim combo. The contrasting tones keep it from being too Brittany Spears circa 2001, and the high-waisted dark denim with a black block heeled boot make legs look miles long.

The Meatpacking district is one of my favorite areas of Manhattan. It's quieter than busy midtown, and has tons of cute cafes and shops dotted along its cobblestone streets. It's much easier to splurge on that gorgeous pair of suede boots, or Italian silk scarf, when you know it will still be en vogue next season!

You may have noticed that I've been changing scenery quite often (flying off to Cancun, back to Texas, then moving back to New York) and all that flying and changing climates can really take a toll on your skin, especially if you already have dry skin, like mine, to begin with.
