February Favorites

This month was full of rediscoveries and a few new favorites. February was all about pretty neutrals and muted colors to transition from winter to spring!

First up, these gorgeous shades from Essie! I've been loving rotating and mixing these three for an understated but fresh mani. Imported Bubbly (left) has a beautiful pearl-effect on the nail, and looks amazing paired with Mochachino (right) which is a pretty light brown with tiny light-reflecting particles in it. Sugar Daddy (center) is the ultimate natural color. It adds just a slight polished pink to the nail, and pulls together whatever look you're wearing without drawing too much attention.

I already raved for an entire post about the new Tartelette 2 In Bloom palette, but I couldn't help but to put it in here too! The colors are stunning (especially Jetsetter, Smarty Pants, and Funny Girl!) and I've worn colors from this palette every single day since I got it!

I used the Neutrogena SkinClearing liquid foundation for several months before trying out a ton of other drugstore foundations (it won my Best Drugstore Foundation), but I had gotten away from using it until recently, when I rediscovered what a beauty this is! It has the perfect medium-high coverage and treats your acne with salicylic acid all day long! Win - Win!

If you're skeptical of a perfume from GAP, don't worry, I was too. But GAP Imagine is a very light and fresh perfume with notes of bluebell, apple blossom, and jasmine. It's very nice for a light daytime perfume and for the low price, worth it!

My next rediscovery was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I had gotten away from using it, because of the $22 price tag, but decided to pick it up again. Now I know what I was missing! I picked up the color Taupe, and the color match was amazing compared to the drugstore offerings (which are quite slim in terms of colors) and it looked so much more natural!

xoxo,

Audra
