Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil

Morning, Lovelies! Today's post is all about a skincare product that I have relied on heavily over the past few weeks, and I can honestly say it's saved my skin! You may have noticed that I've been changing scenery quite often (flying off to Cancun, back to Texas, then moving back to New York) and all that flying and changing climates can really take a toll on your skin, especially if you already have dry skin, like mine, to begin with.

Pixi Glow Tonic Review

I've been such a skincare fanatic lately, so after hearing over and over and over again about how amazing the Pixi Glow Tonic is, I broke and finally ran to Target for a bottle. I wasn't so sure in the beginning that it would work as well for me, since I have dry, yet blemish-prone skin, and most of the reviews we're by people with oily skin, but I've become a believer!

July Favorites

Morning Lovelies! Sorry for this super late July Favorites! I took a little week-long break from blogging to just relax, but now I'm back and ready to roll! There have been so many exciting things that I've been using this month, and I CAN'T WAIT to share them!!

Beauty Haul + Mini Reviews

Morning, Lovelies! I've recently picked up a few bits and pieces from the drugstore, ULTA, and Sephora, and I thought I would share my mini-haul today with you! Some of these are repurchases of things that I love, and some are completely new!

The Skincare Edit

Good morning, Lovelies! Today I thought I would give a little skincare update since its been almost a year since my last one! Most products have changed, but a few tried-and-true favorites remain in my arsenal. A little glimpse into my skin type: I can be dry, normal, or oily depending on the day or time of year, but I always moisturize fairly heavily and use tons of sunscreen. (#PaleGirlProbz)

February Favorites

This month was full of rediscoveries and a few new favorites. February was all about pretty neutrals and muted colors to transition from winter to spring! First up, these gorgeous shades from Essie! I've been loving rotating and mixing these three for an understated but fresh mani. Imported Bubbly (left) has a beautiful pearl-effect on the nail, and looks amazing paired with Mochachino (right) which is a pretty light brown with tiny light-reflecting particles in it. Sugar Daddy (center) is the ultimate natural color. It adds just a slight polished pink to the nail, and pulls together whatever look you're wearing without drawing too much attention.

One of my favorite things to do during a stressful school week, is to take an hour or two, step away from the mountains of essays and projects, and take time to relax. During that time, I like to take off my makeup, put on a mask, and either read a book or paint my nails (Essie's Leggy Legend and Geranium are my current favorites).

Recently, I've been loving the Origins Clear Improvements Charcoal Mask. It has charcoal which draws out deep impurities, white china clay to absorbs environmental toxins, and lecithin which dissolves all the impurities.

I use this about once a week, after I've cleansed my face, and before I moisturize. It definitely has helped to clean out the New York City "gunk" from the air, and keep my acne under control! Plus, it's a great way to de-stress!

Drugstore Foundation Comparison

As most of you know, I've been in college in NYC for about two months now, and with the college life, comes the college budget! That said, I've had to trade my beloved Dr. Jart BB Cream for a more budget-friendly option. And so the search for a new drugstore foundation began! Here are the 4 that I've been testing out over the past few months:
