July Favorites

July Favorites

Morning Lovelies! Sorry for this super late July Favorites! I took a little week-long break from blogging to just relax, but now I'm back and ready to roll! There have been so many exciting things that I've been using this month, and I CAN'T WAIT to share them!!

Pixi Glow Tonic

I've been hearing hype around this glow tonic for months, so on a trip to Target, I decided to grab a small bottle and give it a go! I'm now finished with the small bottle, and testing out the pre-soaked pad version, but my skin has been amazing lately, so I'm definitely impressed! The tonic gently exfoliates with glycolic, while aloe vera and ginseng calm and soothe skin. I absolutely recommend this gem to EVERYONE!

WhoWhatWear Target Collection - Southern New Yorker

WhoWhatWear Collection

I was ecstatic when I found out that one of my favorite websites, Who What Wear, was releasing an on-going collection with Target! Pieces designed by fashion editors at Target prices? Um.... YES! The first two things I picked up from their line is this white bell-sleeved blouse (that also comes in black!) and a little burgundy micro-bag! The blouse is so cute, and the sleeves really add an understated punch, and the bag, while small, carries all the essentials and keeps you light and hands-free! (also in love with the green faux suede saddle bag)

L'Oreal Lumi Concealer

Drugstore concealers and I have had a long-standing fight, since no brand seems to make one light enough for us pale girls, UNTIL NOW, I saw the L'Oreal Lumi Concealer in Target (Wow, I need to stop these impulse Target trips...) and loved the idea of a luminizing under-eye concealer, so I grabbed one in the lightest shade and fell in love! It doesn't have as much coverage as some higher-end concealers, but it brightens like a dream, and I'm so impressed!

Glossier haloscope in rose quartz
Audra Koch - Glossier Haloscope highlighter

Glossier Haloscope

I've been all about the "fresh and natural skin" look lately (even if it ironically takes 7 products to do that) and since I have incredibly dry skin, I've been relying on this gem to give me that all-day dew effect! The outer ring has Rose Quartz extracts for a pretty pearlescent glow, while the inner core has coconut, almond, and castor oils to provide hydration and all-day glow! If you don't believe me, check out the candid (and quite unflattering, but I'm proving a point) photo of me at a wedding! Facial expression = terrible. Highlight = YAS GIRL!! It also comes in Topaz for a warm sun-kissed highlight!

CHANEL Les Beiges Foundation

I did an entire review post on this gorgeous foundation, but I had to include it in here as well because I've been wearing it every single day! It has a perfect medium coverage, with a satin finish, and so many good-for-your-skin ingredients that I don't feel bad letting it sit on my skin all day! If you're in the market for a new high-end foundation, definitely give this one a test!

xoxo,

Audra
