Morning Lovelies! Sorry for this super late July Favorites! I took a little week-long break from blogging to just relax, but now I'm back and ready to roll! There have been so many exciting things that I've been using this month, and I CAN'T WAIT to share them!!
I tested several high-end foundations before deciding on the CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation. I had pretty much made up my mind when my mother complimented me on "my skin" almost every single time I wore it! It has a medium, but bulidable coverage, and sits a bit middle-of-the-road in terms of finish. It's not quite matte, but not quite dewy either. You can definitely play up either finish depending on what primer you use under it (I recommend the BECCA Backlight Primer for a glowy/dewy finish, and Benefit Porefessional for matte). An added bonus particularly for fair girls, is it's SPF 25 (woot!) to keep those sun-rays off skin every single day.
I was ecstatic when I opened this Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise on Christmas morning this year, and ever since then, it has become the perfect bag for everyday and for taking to my internship! Today, I thought I would give a little peek inside and tell y'all what's hiding in this little red gem. I was lucky enough to have this gorgeous little gem given to me by my grandmother as a graduation gift, and it has quickly become my most-used bag! It's large enough to hold the essential plus a few extras and the chic faux snakeskin adds something interesting to any outfit! It actually holds more than you think it would. I was surprised to find how much I could fit! It has small pocket inside the main compartment that's perfect for holding your phone, a zippered compartment on the back which is nice for keeping cash, cards, ID, etc. and I'm not quite sure what I'll use the front pocket for, possibly a metrocard, but for now it's just a pretty addition.
