The bitter cold that's still lingering in New York has made me want to wear nothing but giant sweaters and leggings everyday. But instead of dressing like a bum for work, I found the best dupe, wool pants that feel like pajamas, and look like a trendy trouser! For work, I usually pair them with a loafer to play on the masculine trend, but an off the shoulder sweater and silk scarf still keep it feminine.

5 Pieces for a Spring Refresh

Even though it's still thirty degrees in NYC, I'm still willing the weather to get warmer, and what better than to prep the closet for spring weather! I've been noticing a lot of trends popping up from watching runways, bloggers, and even just people around my office and school (who are all very fashionable considering I work at a luxury designer and go to fashion school). So here are a few pieces to add to your closet for spring!

Top Trends From NYFW '18

NYFW is my favorite two weeks of the year, and (by no coincidence, I'm sure) Fashion Week in February always falls during my birthday! This year, I had the pleasure of attending multiple shows, as well as working the show for the designer I intern for, Cushnie et Ochs. All the shows were phenomenal, and there were several key colors, silhouettes, and details that were present throughout MANY collections. Even if these were Fall/Winter collections, these trends can definitely be worn in Spring and Summer! I pulled out some of the best ones, gave a little runway inspiration, and then curated some great pieces so you can add these trends to your wardrobe! (and at a MUCH lower price than the designer budget!)

Candy Striped

It's the middle of the best (craziest, busiest, haven't-slept-in-three-days) week of the year! New York Fashion Week! Between keeping up with school, working extra hours, and working the Cushnie et Ochs show on Friday, I was SO happy to ditch the Sunday shows and lay low!

St. Valentine's

Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays, possibly just because everything is pink and red, but also because it's a day to focus on the people you love! Whether that be your spouse, significant other, best friend, pet, whoever! It's a day to let them know how much you love and appreciate them!

122 Blog Post Ideas

Some days, you sit at your laptop and just cannot think of a single topic to write about! I've been struck by blogging writers-block more than a few times, and something that always helped me was looking through these kinds of lists and waiting for one to jump at me! Well, I've been collecting this list for quite awhile, and decided to share it in case any of you are expiriencing the same block!

Checkered

If there are two thing's I've been obsessed with lately, it's neck-bows and berets. So obviously this outfit has been a favorite as of late, and I loved shooting it in front of this adorable Notting Hill home! Red has always been a favorite color of mine, and if there's one thing my grandmother taught me, it's that a swipe of red lipstick always looks chic.

Letters From London

London is a beautiful city filled with so much history! I loved getting to explore all the different neighborhoods of London, and even though the weather tends to be on the wet side (bring a hat and an umbrella!) it's still one of my favorite places I've visited! Read on for a few reccomendations during your trip!

8 Things I Want To Do In 2018

We're only 4 days in to 2018, but so far, it's been pretty great! I've never been one to make hard-and-fast New Years Resolutions, but this year I thought I'd take a stab at a few goals, or just little things I want to do in 2018. I'll be printing these out in pretty fonts and putting them above my desk in my new Brooklyn apartment (don't worry, I'll post pictures once it's finished!) so that I can be constantly reminded of them!

Best of SNY 2017

Holy cow, how did 2017 go so fast?? It's about to be 3 years that I've been doing this whole blog thing (what?!) and I've had a lot of posts from 2017 that I've particularly loved! But I widdled it down to just a few, so here are my 2017 favorites!

How did four months go by so fast? It seems like just yesterday I hopped off that plane into the 100+ degree Italian heat, and had no idea where I was, or what I was doing! But I'm currently a thousand feet high in the air flying back to the US, and let me tell you, it's the ultimate bittersweet. Leaving for Italy was hard, but leaving Italy is twice as hard.
