Vienna & Budapest

We planned this 6-day East-European adventure pretty early in the semester, so by the time it arrived, I was so excited I could barely contain myself! We flew to Vienna, Austria on Friday afternoon and then took a bus over to Budapest, Hungary early Monday morning, and finally left the beautiful city on Wednesday. This is so far my favorite trip I've been on, and I'm dying to go back to both countries!

Rome

Ciao from Roma! A few friends and I decided to spend a weekend exploring the ancient city, and it was one of my favorite trips so far! It got off to a bit of a bumpy start though...I had been sick all week, so Saturday night I decided to take benedryl and head to bed early, hoping I'd feel better the next day for out train at 8 AM......and then I woke up dazed and confused, at 9. oops! Well I raced to the station, and hopped on the next train to meet my friends, and it all worked out in the end!

3 Day Guide to New York City

I get messages all the time from people visiting New York, asking where to visit and places to eat. And after five years of living here, I definitely have a list of places, but to make it easier, I’ve decided to write out a 3-day trip plan for visiting NYC. I won't cover every single thing you could possibly do (because you'd need an entire month to do everything) but some of the best highlights are in here, as well as a few off-the-tourist-path spots. These are just suggestions, If you really want to visit somewhere, do it! It's your trip! But here's my suggested plan:

Barcelona

Ciao! I've had an amazing weekend relaxing at home in Florence, and finally had time to sift through all my photos from Barcelona! We spent two full days exploring the Catalan capital, and eating the most amazing food!! (Seafood is my weakness, and Barcelona has endless amounts!)

5 Trends for Fall 2017

Fall is finally upon us (even though Italy hasn't quite caught up...) and since I've been spending hours upon hours researching trends on fashion forecasting websites for my classes, I thought I would make a quick post with a few Fall/Winter trends that are predicted not only for '17, but even '18 & '19 (so you can purchase with confidence that these will be around for awhile)

Paris & Marseilles

Ciao! I've been so behind on blogging, but I finally have a weekend where I'm not traveling (and to be honest, it's been wonderful to just relax) but since I have a little extra time, I'll be recapping my trips to France & Spain! First up is my week in Paris and Marseilles (both of which I never wanted to leave!)

Vespa

Ciao! It's been a wild three weeks here in Florence (it's been three weeks already?!) and we're currently attempting to fit a weeks worth of clothes into one carry-on for Paris and Marseilles (please pray for me), but before heading off to Francia, here's one of my favorite dresses, which was sent to me by Shein!

Verona

Ciao from fair Verona. My roommates and I spent the weekend exploring this romantic and beautiful little city, and I can say that none of us wanted to leave it! We visited Romeo and Juliet's house, castles, palaces, gardens, and hiked up to Il Belvedere! Check out a few photos I snapped from the weekend and a full Vlog down below!

Siena & San Gimignano

Ciao! I've finally settled into my apartment and a routine here in Florence, and shortly after moving in, I took a day trip with about 20 other girls in FIT Florence to Siena and San Gimignano! We loaded up a bus at 9 am and spent about two hours in each city, wandering the streets, seeing piazzas and churches, and of course, eating lots of pizza and gelato! Here are some of my favorite pictures from each city!

Annalena

Sorry for the lack of posts, over the last two weeks I've been packing up New York and flying across the pond for a semester abroad in Florence, Italy!! Even crazier, school dorms don't exist here, so we sent the first few days juggling orientation and apartment hunting! But that's finally settled, and I've found a beautiful little apartment with four other girls on the South side of the Arno river!

My Everyday Acessories

I have a ton of Style posts with great, sometimes over-the-top accessories (and if we're being real, my statement earring collection has no rival) but do I dress like this every single day? Unless I'm going to work, no. If it's a day of school, homework, errands, etc, you'll find me in pixie pants (let's be honest, they're thick leggings with a fancy name) a comfy shirt, and some fairly basic accessories. Though these do get mixed into my more flashy wardrobe, so I'm generally wearing them every day!
