One of the best parts of Fashion Week is checking out all the amazing streetstyle around the city! It’s a full week where everyone brings out thier best, and you can pull inspiration from each persons unique style. If you plan on attending NYFW this season, here are a few things to keep in mind so you don’t pull a major fashion faux pas:
Fashion week is one of the best times of the year in New York, from the shows, to just seeing the streetsyle all over the city! And the good news for smaller bloggers is that it’s entirely possible to attend shows now, with the rise of the Microinfluencer! But that being said, PR Managers who create those invite lists are BUSY people, and you have to pitch yourself just right to snag that invite!

I've been blogging for over three years now, and I've definitely learned a thing or two about the whole blogging thing. There's so much to learn when you first start out as a blogger, and I'm still learning more everyday! But one of the main things I was always focused on was how to get my content in front of the people who would want to read it, and I thought I would share a few tips I've learned on how to do just that!
If you're just starting out, of course your traffic will be slow. and that's OK! It takes time to build a readership and to develop lots of content, but for newbies and seasoned bloggers alike, here are a few easy ways to make sure you're getting as much traffic as possible!
Blogging is a weird job. It's a giant mix of writing, photography, graphic design, marketing, a little tech knowledge, and a whole lot of determination. And what do bloggers get back in return? There are more abstract benefits like having a creative outlet, connecting with other bloggers (and making friends!) and building something you're proud of.
However, for a lot of bloggers, it's a business. That business comes with sources of income. Some are monetary, some are not, but they're all payment for a service rendered. That's why I get a little ticked by this concept of 'free stuff'.
You cannot imagine the amount of times I've heard the sentence 'I want to be a blogger for all the free stuff!!' or had a friend / family member feel inclined to help themselves to something I've been sent by brands.
The blogging world is enormous. I'm talking MILLIONS of creators all over the internet trying to carve out thier own piece of creativity, and find success with it. And especially in the Fashion / Lifestyle / Beauty categories of blogging, competition can be fierce for followers, partnerships, and even stretches to who has the best designer handbag, or who is taking the most Instagram-able vacations...
Some days, you sit at your laptop and just cannot think of a single topic to write about! I've been struck by blogging writers-block more than a few times, and something that always helped me was looking through these kinds of lists and waiting for one to jump at me! Well, I've been collecting this list for quite awhile, and decided to share it in case any of you are expiriencing the same block!
I'm so lucky that NYC is filled with tons of amazing bloggers, and I've met some amazing girls while blogging in New York! All of the girls I've met create amazing content and are such nice, genuine, and inspiring people!
My first blogger friends, Hillary and Tatum, I met at a blogging event in September 2016, and after MANY brunches, coffees, events, and exploding champagne bottles on Instagram Live, these blogging friends have become real-life friends! Even better, my blogging circle keeps growing by meeting and getting to know new girls!
