Brooklyn Room Tour

Brooklyn Room Tour

I'm so happy that I've finally settled in to my first real apartment! After dorming for two years, I moved in with one of my best friends, Lulu, in a two-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn! It's been about a month, and as I type this we are currently watching Gilmore Girls in our living with wine and popcorn, so clearly it's amazing!!

My room was pretty bare, very large all off-white walls and wood floors, so I tried to add as much color as possible! I got this rug from Bed Bath & Beyond, and I love that it covers almost all my floor, and makes the room cozier. Most of my bedding is from Urban Outfitters, with two little accent pillows from Target.

The clothing rack + shelf behind my bed is probably the most functional thing I have, since it acts as clothing storage, towel/sheet storage, a spot for my laundry bin, knick-kacks inside the Kate Spade boxes, and I stacked sterlite drawers below another Kate Spade box to make a bedside table

Since I didn't have a dresser, I bought this 6-cube organizer from Target (and put it together myself!!) to act as one, as well as hold all my accessories on top! Then I tacked up these cute calendar cards from May designs!

For the wall next to my bed, I stole an idea from my friend Hillary's room, (see her room tour HERE) and printed a bunch of cute pictures / sayings / etc off pinterest and taped them up with this cute navy striped washi tape! And of course, the string lights were a must.

I didn't do the decorating for most of the rest of our apartment, but we have a cute church-pew looking bench around our table and two huge comfy sofas! The guy here before us also left a Bacardi bottle holder, so we decided to re-use it as a flower vase!

xoxo,

Audra
