March Favorites

It's been quite a while since I wrote one of these! February was drowned in Fashion Week coverage, so I didn't have time to write one, but I've been loving a few particular colors, trends, and makeup bits over the past two months, so here's a little peek into what I'm loving right now!

6 Stylish Girls to Follow on Instagram

Does everyone spend as much time on Instagram as I do? Admittedly, I'm so guilty of checking it first thing in the morning, and last thing before bed (and a million times throughout the day) and I love following a ton of incredibly stylish girls to pull outfit inspiration from! Of course, there are some of the bigger bloggers I love like Style Lobster, Atlantic // Pacific, and Amelia Styles, but I wanted to show off a few smaller girls who deserve SO much more attention for thier amazing feeds!

Paris Fashion Week Part 3

Au Revoir Paris! Tuesday concluded that last of Fashion Weeks shows in the City of Lights, and every show had a strong message, and killer designs. My particular favorites from this rund were McQueen and Louis Vuitton (though Chanel did have a life-sized space shuttle launch out of the Grand Palais). And with this post, Fashion Month officially ends. See you in September (from Italy instead of New York!!) for Spring '18 shows!

Paris Fashion Week Part 2

The second round of Parisian shows were just as tres belles as the first round, and had some of the most iconic houses like Balenciaga, Celine, and Valentino. Haidier Ackerman had an extremely stong show, and of course I had to include the weird and outlandish Comme des Garcons show (which mostly looked like giant lint-balls and cardboard, but if you take time to think, might have had a lot underneath it).

Paris Fashion Week Part 1

Bonjour Paris!! Fashion Month culminates in arguably the fashion capital of the world, since it's here that some of the oldest and most prestigious fashion houses, as well as young and modern designers, show thier collections. I had to break Paris up into 3 sections instead of just 2, since there are so many shows, but without further adieu here is the first round of parisian shows!

Milan Fashion Week Part 2

And so the second round of Milan shows begins! Another two of my favorite designers, Salvatore Ferragamo and Dolce & Gabbana showed this week, and both thier collections were stunning! Jeremy Scott made some bold statements with his latest Moschino collection, and Bottega Veneta's 1940's inspired glamour shook the runways. This is the last round of Italian shows, so you know what that means: Arrivederci Milano and Bonjour Paris!

Milan Fashion Week Part 1

Ciao amichi! It's the first round of Milan shows! Some of my all time favorite fashion houses (I'm looking at you Gucci) show in Milan, and the shows this season were nothing short of spectacular. Though I have to say, I think for this round of shows, Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara may actually be tied for my favorite. Read all about them below and lookout for Part 2 coming at ya soon!

Arctic Fox

The easiest outfit in the world? Throwing a faux-fur vest over all-black. This look definitely fits the Soho vibe too, and I felt like one of the cool-kids walking down the rainy sidewalk amidst the graffiti and fire-escapes. But of course, the morning wouldn't be complete without me stopping someone to pet thier dog. (I think today's total count was 4 dogs)

London Fashion Week Part 2

Time to wrap up the last round of shows in the UK's fashion capital! Two of my favorite designers, Erdem and Peter Pilotto, showed this week and their collections were absolutely stunning! Check them out, and a few other favorites below, and get ready to jet off to Milan on Saturday for the first sound of Italian shows!
