Ciao amichi! It's the first round of Milan shows! Some of my all time favorite fashion houses (I'm looking at you Gucci) show in Milan, and the shows this season were nothing short of spectacular. Though I have to say, I think for this round of shows, Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara may actually be tied for my favorite. Read all about them below and lookout for Part 2 coming at ya soon!Read More
The easiest outfit in the world? Throwing a faux-fur vest over all-black. This look definitely fits the Soho vibe too, and I felt like one of the cool-kids walking down the rainy sidewalk amidst the graffiti and fire-escapes. But of course, the morning wouldn't be complete without me stopping someone to pet thier dog. (I think today's total count was 4 dogs)Read More
Time to wrap up the last round of shows in the UK's fashion capital! Two of my favorite designers, Erdem and Peter Pilotto, showed this week and their collections were absolutely stunning! Check them out, and a few other favorites below, and get ready to jet off to Milan on Saturday for the first sound of Italian shows!Read More
And that's a wrap! NYFW closed yesterday, and everyone is speedily jetting off to London for the next week of shows, but I still have Part 2 of the NY shows to share! On Tuesday, I put up Part 1, with some amazing designers, and here's the second half!Read More
A few of my favorite things? Oversized earrings, anything pink, and Washington Sq Park! (it's the best place to hang out in the warm months, and pet people's dogs year-round) Plus, with Fashion Week kicking off, there were tons of bloggers, both native and those who flew in for the week, taking shots all around this neighborhood!Read More
If there's one thing I love just as much as New York, it's coffee. Luckily, the city has some pretty amazing coffee spots all around that offer slightly different brews, atmospheres, and experiences. So whether you're a season New Yorker or just visiting the city, skip the Starbucks habit and hit up a local NYC coffee shop instead!Read More
Good morning, Lovelies! I've decided to start a new kind of weekly post here on SNY that's a little more personal/lifestyle/diary-like! I'm taking inspiration from Kelly Prince Writes (one of my favorite blogs) and I'll be doing a post every Sunday morning just about my past week, and about the week ahead!Read More
How to make it through a cold and rainy New York day: rain boots, pixie pants, and a cozy sweater. Oh, and don't forget Starbucks! Top off the outfit with a chic necklace, headband, and your favorite fall lip color (Berry and Burgundy have been in constant rotation) and you've got yourself a winneRead More
NYFW is in full swing and the city is crazier than ever! So many fashionistas running up and down the blocks with designer bags and lattes in tow! Right before the madness began, we hopped on over to the gorgeous Lincoln Center (One of NYFW's former homes. It's now held at the Skylight in Clarkson Sq. and Moynihan Station) to snap a few pics!
I finally got the chance to pull out my favorite J.Crew dress from last fall! Burgundy is my favorite color (barely winning over blush pink). I paired it with my trusted black flats, gold jewelry, and Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick + Primer in Cola Pop!Read More
This leather circle skirt is about as punk-rock as I'll ever get, and it's definitely a fun break from my usual looks. I paired it with an all-black outfit and a bright bag!
About half a block from FIT is a discount fabric store which has crazy colorful graffiti of race cars on it's cover, which I loved! (but there was a crazy homeless man yelling at us, so we switched locations...)
I swear the Free People tank above comes in black and the bag comes in red!! ^^^
And since I couldn't find my exact earrings, here's a few options!!
One of the best parts of living in Chelsea is having the Highline only a few blocks away! It's a gorgeous above-ground railroad track that has been turned into a park! My roommate, Julia (Hey Jule), and I went over and walked around, since it was such a gorgeous day!Read More
There's no better way to spend a warm summer day than strolling Central Park with friends! I spent the day listening to street musicians, and walking around the gorgeous park with my two new roommates Julia (Hey Jule) and Kayla (The Style Genre)!
I loved roaming the grassy paths in this new LOFT Cargo Skirt, flowy black top (similar), Gold Metallic Collar, DVF Snakeskin Crossbody (similar), Topshop Ring Set (similar), elastic ballet flats, and cat eye sunglasses!Read More
