Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor Swatch Video + Review

There has been so much buzz about these little drugstore lippies that I had to see what all the hype was about. While running into walgreens (for one thing, and walking out with 7, as per usual) I spotted a display of these and grabbed two shades, Addiction and Devotion. After testing (and falling in love with) those two, I ran to ULTA for four more, picking more adventurous shades this time, and I was hooked! 

There are sixteen total shades in the range, with everything from brown-y neutrals to vivid reds, bright purples, and deep dark winter berry shades! They seem to advertise as a matte liquid lipstick, but these formulas are not fully matte. I would say they're more of a satin finish, since they stay a bit glossy for about 45 minutes before drying to almost-matte. Though because of that, they have great hydration and awesome lasting power! No flakes, no crusty lips! All of them are mostly opaque with one coat (the only one I used two was Crush) and the color only faded very slightly after about 5 hours of wear!

Right now, I've been trading off wearing Forever and Kisses almost every day, although occasionally Crush or Addiction makes a fun change of pace! I'm so excited to collect the whole range (which is easy, since ULTA has them for BOGO 50% off!!)
