Milan Fashion Week Part 1

Ciao amichi! It's the first round of Milan shows! Some of my all time favorite fashion houses (I'm looking at you Gucci) show in Milan, and the shows this season were nothing short of spectacular. Though I have to say, I think for this round of shows, Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara may actually be tied for my favorite. Read all about them below and lookout for Part 2 coming at ya soon!

Highs in the Hundreds

Highs in the Hundreds

With Texas temps hitting highs in the hundreds, it's a constant battle not to wear shorts and a loose fitting tee. To get around this, I opted for a loose orange tank (which is actually a dress tucked in, but shhhhh... see it HERE) and pulled on my FAVORITE pants, a pair of black, wide-leg culottes from Zara. They feel like pajama pants, but somehow end up looking chic with a pop of color and a pair of heels.

Yellow & Navy

Yellow & Navy

Good morning, Lovelies! Today I thought I would break out my favorite color combo, yellow and navy! I nabbed these gorgeous J.Crew earrings a few weeks ago when someone else returned them (just my luck!) and I love how they add a fun pop of color to any outfit! This Zara dress is a bit shorter than I usually wear, but the collared top balances it out a bit, and looks so cute paired with these J.Crew Factory Addie loafers! Once again, I'm wearing the soft matte lip cream from NYX in the shade Cannes (LOVE this shade!)

Fringe, Stripes, & Chokers

Fringe, Stripes, & Chokers

Good Morning, Lovelies! Sorry for this post being a day late, but I'm currently in Arkansas for a wedding! (Be sure to look out for a vlog from this weekend, and pictures on Instagram!!)

Anyway, I was with my mom in White House Black Market when I spotted these 70's style striped pants on the sale rack and couldn't resist! The vertical stripes make legs look miles long (though the heels help), and I couldn't resist pairing it with my beloved Tim Ryan jacket! This jacket makes any outfit into a statement, even a plain T shirt and jeans (Which I did HERE!)

Ebony & Denim

Ebony & Denim

Mornin' Lovelies! Today I felt like dressing-up a pair of casual jeans with some classic black pumps. Heels are the easiest way to make any outfit a bit more chic, and if you invest in a good pair with a manageable heel height, they are so much more comfortable! I added an easy and classy jeweled button down from J.Crew, and these delicate Gorjana earrings that came in my Rocksbox!

Twirling in Tim Ryan

Twirling in Tim Ryan

I am so excited to finally share this shoot we did down in the Meatpacking district with this gorgeous Tim Ryan jacket! On my last day at my internship, they were so kind to let me pick something from their stock closet, and I knew I needed this beautiful gem in my life. It's simultaneously dramatic and understated, and looks perfect with jeans and a tee or a simple dress.

Chilly

Chilly

we've had a bit of a cold front in the city, and I was able to give this fur vest one last outing before spring/summer! I stuck to classic New York black, but added a little spring flair with this gorgeous orange lipstick by Kat Von D! I highly recommend these, they are amazing!

I shot this look last Saturday in DUMBO, Brooklyn at this gorgeous colorful wall we found! I love this classic but casual look, it's easy, comfortable, and chic!

The Blues

The Blues

Today I decided to pair these (amazing) J.Crew Ryder pants with a classic chambray button down, J.Crew Factory Cora tassel loafers, a Kendra Scott Rayne necklace, and Sophie Harper pave ring (both of which came in my Rocksbox! You can get a month free with my code! Read the post HERE!) But what I was MOST excited for, was to take my new Loeffler Randall Saffiano Rider bag out for it's first spin! I happened upon it while scouring a Rent The Runway sample sale, and I couldn't leave without it! It was between that and a Kate Spade dress. Believe me, the decision was almost impossible.

Ladylike

Ladylike

I'm so excited to share this very pastel look with y'all today! I didn't even realize it, but I'm definitely tapping into this year's Pantone colors, with Rose Quartz hair, a Serenity blue skirt, and a Lilac Grey top! Well I snagged this skirt for crazy cheap on the clearance rack at LOFT, and I'm obsessed with how classic and feminine it is!
