Highs in the Hundreds

Highs in the Hundreds

With Texas temps hitting highs in the hundreds, it's a constant battle not to wear shorts and a loose fitting tee. To get around this, I opted for a loose orange tank (which is actually a dress tucked in, but shhhhh... see it HERE) and pulled on my FAVORITE pants, a pair of black, wide-leg culottes from Zara. They feel like pajama pants, but somehow end up looking chic with a pop of color and a pair of heels.

Culottes & Tattoos

Happy Friday lovelies! The weather has been gorgeous in the city this past week, and I was crazy excited to break out my new Zara culottes! They're so on trend for spring, and I swear, these feel like PJ's! Heeled sandals make them a little more dressed up, but they'd look so cute with flat sandals too!

Good morning lovelies! For anyone who doesn't know, I am an intern at a luxury, salon-style store called Suite 1521. This week we had the Jonathan Simkhai Spring 2016 and Fall 2016 collections in, and I couldn't resist trying on a few things, they're just stunning!

The first look was a separate shredded linen crop top and midi skirt. It was honestly one of the most comfortable things I've ever worn, and so chic! I'm in love with the crop top and midi skirt trend. So chic and easy!

The second (and my favorite) is this red scalloped crop top and white culottes. THESE CULOTTES. I've been a little weary of trying on culottes, but they are amazing. These fit like a glove, and were so soft and flattering, I would almost consider dropping the $375 to buy them! Kidding, but I'll definitely be hitting up Zara for some look-alikes.

Next week we have Rosie Assoulin, Edie Parker, and Courreges! Let me know if you like these posts, and they might become a weekly thing!
