All in Style

Sweater weather is finally here, and I was so excited to pull this Lou & Grey sweater out from my closet! I can tell that sweaters, pixie pants, and slip ons are going to be my uniform this fall seeing as they're so comfortable and easy! I also got a chance to wear my new obsession, Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (which I reviewed here!)

Fall Flannels

What could possibly be a better way to kick off Fall than with a flannel dress and these adorable new Starbucks cups! (It's not a PSL, I apologize, but my love affair with White Mocha's cannot be replaced)

I paired the dress with my roommate Kayla's brown saddle bag (The Style Genre), a vintage Citizen watch, black ballet flats, and mixed the diamond-back of my LOFT earrings with pearl studs!

Skylight at Clarkson Sq - NYFW

Fashion Week is coming to a close, so before all the excitement ended, my roomie Kayla (The Style Genre) and I hopped on down the the Skylight in Clarkson Sq, one of this year's new venues for Fashion Week!

Teal is one of my favorite Pantone Fall Colors, so to start off the season, I pulled this dress from LUSH Clothing! I'm obsessed with the neckline! Another new discovery is Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I am in love with the sheer wash of berry that's somewhere between a lipstick and a lipgloss. Perfection!

Fall 2015 Pantone Color Trend Report

Fall is upon us and with that comes the warm, cozy colors of fall! Pantone displayed a range or warm, earthy neutrals with a few pops of bold color! Here are my 5 favorites with a little inspiration!

1. Dried Herb - Think Military Green!

Olive-toned green has always been a fall staple. Ralph Lauren ran with this gorgeous color for his Fall 2015 collection (LOVE).  Military-style vests and pants are classics, and they look great paired with navy gingham or a deep burgundy sweater!

2. Oak Buff - Think Mustard Yellow

J.Crew chose to go a little brighter than pantone's pick, but their Fall '15 collection is stunning! And of course, who wouldn't want to rock Olivia Palermo's mustard-yellow coat this fall!

3. Marsala - Think Burgundy

Pantone's Color of the Year is my all-time-favorite, and I am so excited to break out the deep red wine hues! Banana Republic featured this gorgeous color (and did an amazing job!)

4. Biscay Bay - Think Dark Teal

It's not a common color among most wardrobes, but teal is a great color on almost all skin tones and is a great warmer alternative for fall!

5. Cashmere Rose - Think Muted Pink

For a feminine touch, pull out that dusty pink cardigan (or dress, or top, or skirt) and pair it with a rich brown or warm olive!

Lincoln Center and NYFW

NYFW is in full swing and the city is crazier than ever! So many fashionistas running up and down the blocks with designer bags and lattes in tow! Right before the madness began, we hopped on over to the gorgeous Lincoln Center (One of NYFW's former homes. It's now held at the Skylight in Clarkson Sq. and Moynihan Station) to snap a few pics!

I finally got the chance to pull out my favorite J.Crew dress from last fall! Burgundy is my favorite color (barely winning over blush pink). I paired it with my trusted black flats, gold jewelry, and Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick + Primer in Cola Pop!

Brooklyn Botanicals

It's amazing how a 20 minute subway ride can take you somewhere completely different, in this case, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens! I had such a blast wandering the gardens with my friends Julia and Alexandra!

Since it was a bit hot out (though the shade of the huge trees helped!) I chose to wear this LOFT Mixstripe Trapeze dress (Obsessed), along with some gold jewelry and comfortable black flats. Adding a pop of color to the lips with (my holy grail) Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick + Primer in Punch Pop!

Gold Fringe & Black Lace

One of the best parts of living in Chelsea is having the Highline only a few blocks away! It's a gorgeous above-ground railroad track that has been turned into a park! My roommate, Julia (Hey Jule), and I went over and walked around, since it was such a gorgeous day!
