Doesn't everyone carry around a purse full of flowers? Maybe not, it's a bit impractical, but makes for some very cute photos! I loved the way these spring blooms peeked out of my Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise. To compliment the already ultra-feminine look, I picked out this fun midi skier that I made about a year ago. Midi skirts are so pretty and fun, and fairly easy to sew if you know the basics!Read More
One of the best parts of living in Chelsea is having the Highline only a few blocks away! It's a gorgeous above-ground railroad track that has been turned into a park! My roommate, Julia (Hey Jule), and I went over and walked around, since it was such a gorgeous day!Read More
So this post started out as a Top 10 Under $10, but after picking out my favorites products, I realized that 6/10 were all by L'Oreal Paris. Therefore, here are my top 6 products from L'Oreal!
I have sung the praises of this mascara for as long as I've used it (which is several years). I'm honestly not sure I could survive without this mascara, and I would pick it over any high-end mascara that I've tried so far. It lengthens, defines, and keeps them perfectly curled ALL DAY. Not too much in the volume department, but pairing it with a volumizing formula and it's golden! (Literally)
I first discovered these when I was picking out a lipstick for my Senior Prom, and while I've always had a tiff with the way L'Oreal lipsticks smell, I fell head over heels for this color! Plus, the lasting power is amazing for a drugstore lipstick! I picked Julianne Nude as my color, but there are quite a few in the range!
Brows completely make or break your makeup. I am a firm believer in strong, dark, defined brows, and this duo is fantastic. I generally don't use them both for one look, but instead use the lighter one for a more natural look and the darker one for when I want a thicker, darker brow. Love them both!
I am palette obsessed. It started with Urban Decay's Naked 2, and now I can't stop. I was a bit skeptical of a drugstore palette but I was very impressed by this one! The color selection is great, and the pigmentation is much better than I expected! Plus they have two different palettes to choose from (I presume one for lighter skin tones, and one for darker, but could just be personal preference).
Hello Amazing! I was over the moon to find a drugstore setting spray that actually worked! Best dupe I've found for the Urban Decay version and half the cost! I will absolutely be keeping a can of this on hand always. If you only check out one thing from this list, make it this! (or the mascara. I have a love affair with that mascara)
No product post would ever be complete without me talking about a bottle-blonde product, and this color refresher/deep conditioning treatment is definitely a new favorite! I actually saw a difference right after using this in the tone of my hair (a major win!) plus, the added deep conditioning is heavenly! Maybe I need to add this to The Best Products for Bottle Blondes!
Those are my top products from L'Oreal! Let me know below if you've tried any of these or which ones you want to go check out!

Back to school is coming faster than we know it, and it's time to start stocking up! Check out a few bits I have on my wishlist for the new season!
1. Urban Decay Smokey Palette
Urban Decay just released their new Smokey Palette and I'm already in love! I'm addicted to the Naked 2 palette, and I can't wait to get a hold of their newest addition! There are so many different smokey eye combinations that you can make with this palette! (Especially excited about those blue tones!)
2. Funny Travel Mugs
These travel mugs from Etsy are too cute! I can't wait to walk around campus with these adorable mugs! (Click on the images to check them out!)
3. Fit & Flare Dresses
I picked out these Fit & Flare dresses from LOFT because they are classic and super flattering, plus they will easily transition into fall/winter with a jacket or black long-sleeve and tights!
4. Black Rain Boots
I can justify black rain boots as essentials for the rainy (or snowy) trudge to class, and these ones from Barney's Warehouse are too cute! They look more like sleek black boots than your regular rain boot! Here are a few other top picks:
5. Olivia Burton Watch
My watch has practically become part of my skin by now, I hate leaving the house with out it, and when I spotted these watches by Olivia Burton, I fell in love! She has every color and type to choose from! Plus at just a little over $100, they're so much more affordable than other brands! My first pick is the classic black strap and gold face! Check out these pretty ones:
