we've had a bit of a cold front in the city, and I was able to give this fur vest one last outing before spring/summer! I stuck to classic New York black, but added a little spring flair with this gorgeous orange lipstick by Kat Von D! I highly recommend these, they are amazing!Read More
This week is going to be a busy one! For those of you who don't know, I'm an intern at Suite 1521, and with added days there, so much to do for classes, and keeping my regular blogging schedule, it's going to be hectic! Sometimes I wish I was a normal college student.... but not really.
Today I had a lot of errands to run, so I needed something comfortable and easy to move in. My trusted pixie pants and tweed sneakers were no-brainers, and I threw on this cream and grey bomber jacket from LOFT to keep me warm and add a model-off-duty style to the outfit. But of course, it would never be my style without a little extra sparkle, so in came my favorite J.Crew necklace.Read More
Sorry about going MIA for almost a week, I've moved back into school in New York, and settled in to my first few days of classes! It's been very chilly the past few days (Snowpocalypse, anyone??)
The worst of the snow has passed for now, and it wasn't quite as chilly today, so I threw on this super cozy H&M turtleneck sweater, that I bought in a large, over my beloved J.Crew pixie pants and little black heeled booties (which I "borrowed" from my mom. Love you mom)
To make this very dark look a little more interesting, I added the Stella and Dot Eva Ear Jackets (which come with two different studs, so you really get 4 different looks!) and my Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise in Cherry Liqueur.
And just for fun, here's a few pictures of Manhattan during winter storm Jonas:
Two of my favorite things, all black outfits and gold jewelry. Honestly, black matches everything and looks good on everyone, who could ever not love it!
To make things a little more interesting, I paired it with a lace bralette from Urban Outfitters, and added a few gold bracelets, a gold fringe necklace (similar), and tweed slip-on sneakers (similar).Read More
I was looking back through blog photos store on my laptop and realized that this outfit from about two weeks ago was never posted! This was the first time I got to break out this grid pattern sweater from LOFT! I picked it up at the end of last winter and I'm so excited to finally wear it!
I paired it with my favorite (and probably WAY over-worn) J.Crew pixie pants, black ballet flats, a blue and green statement necklace, and LOFT sunglasses!Read More
New York weather has been maddening the past week; 45 degrees one day and 70 the next! Today it was a lovely 60 and the perfect temperature for a light sweater and riding boots! I love the emerald color of this green LOFT sweater! It adds the perfect pop of color to a fall/winter outfit!Read More
How to make it through a cold and rainy New York day: rain boots, pixie pants, and a cozy sweater. Oh, and don't forget Starbucks! Top off the outfit with a chic necklace, headband, and your favorite fall lip color (Berry and Burgundy have been in constant rotation) and you've got yourself a winneRead More
Sweater weather is finally here, and I was so excited to pull this Lou & Grey sweater out from my closet! I can tell that sweaters, pixie pants, and slip ons are going to be my uniform this fall seeing as they're so comfortable and easy! I also got a chance to wear my new obsession, Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (which I reviewed here!)Read More
Sometimes you just need to throw on a comfy tee and sneakers and call it a day. Today is one of those days! For a full day of classes, studying, and running a few errands, a threw on this LOFT top, J.Crew Pixie pants (SO COMFY), and my new J.Crew tweed sneakers!Read More
