Good morning, lovelies! Long-time-no-see! I've been swamped between homework and work these past two weeks, but I should be back to my normal blogging schedule soon. However, I did manage to pop down to Brooklyn Heights during a crisp foggy morning, and after shooting with David, hung out for a bit and sipped coffee while reading and people-watching, with a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline (aka my ideal morning).
For a comfortable fall outfit, there's nothing better than cozy tights and a loose dress. You look put together, but with minimal effort! I love this shift shirtdress from Lou & Grey (similar), and paired with comfy black flats, it's definitely a go-to in my closet!
I love this gold metal hair elastic, because it makes you look like you MEANT to do a ponytail, and not that you we're just too lazy to style your hair that day. Plus, adding a little pop of color with orangy-red nails and lips keeps it from being too boring!
In an unusual twist of fate, I'm actually wearing denim!! No, not jeans, but a denim shirt counts, right? I needed to pull out this skirt (made by moi!) before bare-legs were gone for the year, and it looks so cute and casual with the top. Fall booties, and (my obsession) Clinique's Color Pop Lipstick in Cola Pop add to the autumn-vibes!

I've always been a tucked-in-top kind of girl, but there is something so cozy about throwing a chunky knit over an outfit. For a chilly fall day, I grabbed a simple a-line skirt and cozy mustard knit sweater and paired it with fun floral tights! I've been living in these ankle boots lately, they're perfect for the transition into colder weather!

New York weather has been maddening the past week; 45 degrees one day and 70 the next! Today it was a lovely 60 and the perfect temperature for a light sweater and riding boots! I love the emerald color of this green LOFT sweater! It adds the perfect pop of color to a fall/winter outfit!

I've only recently started wearing pencil skirts, and I regret missing out on them for so long! They're comfortable and chic! (My favorite pair!) I paired this one from LUSH with a simple grey long sleeve, my DVF Micro Milo, and my favorite statement necklace from J.Crew. Flats kept it comfy and casual for brunch with my roomies Julia (Hey Jule) and Kayla (The Style Genre)!

What could possibly be a better way to kick off Fall than with a flannel dress and these adorable new Starbucks cups! (It's not a PSL, I apologize, but my love affair with White Mocha's cannot be replaced)
I paired the dress with my roommate Kayla's brown saddle bag (The Style Genre), a vintage Citizen watch, black ballet flats, and mixed the diamond-back of my LOFT earrings with pearl studs!
