The #ArtofFun with Donald J Pliner

Fun is strutting through Soho or the Lower East Side for brunch with your girl gang, or wandering the West Village looking for the best margarita on friday night. In any exciting adventure, one thing that can make it better is doing it in that killer pair of shoes that everyone compliments you on!

When Donald J Pliner asked if I wanted to join in on their spring campaign, I saw both of these block heeled mules in their spring collection and fell madly in love!! Mules are one of the biggest shoe-trends for spring and summer. Heeled, flat, leather, suede, anyway you can imagine them, they are a must-have!

The Spring collection is based on exciting destinations, from Miami beaches to NYC rooftops and these bold and colorful shoes can take you anywhere! They're sold in Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale's as well as there own stores in Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, New Orleans, Orlando, and San Jose, or on donaldjpliner.com!

Donald J Pliner was kind enough to send me two pairs of the Ellis Heel, one in black pebbled leather, and one in a bright red mini crocodile

The first pair is a simple and elegant black pebbled-leather that works with seriously every single outfit. They are also the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned, and I can walk the streets of NYC all day long without them ever being uncomfortable (which is a small miracle in itself because I walk A LOT)

They look just as good with jeans and a T-shirt as they do with a nicer maxi dress or romper, and I can't stop wearing them!!

The second is the same shape and style, but in a bright red crocodile pattern, and I'm obsessed!! I've gotten so many compliments on these while wearing them around the past few weeks, and they've quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. The red is a little stiffer than the black (probably because it's a croc-leather instead of pebbled) but they're still comfortable enough that I can walk in them all day easily!

What do you think? Will you be jumping on the mule trend?

xoxo,

Audra
