Happy Sunday, Lovelies! I hope you've all had a wonderful week! I've had a very fun week, and even more fun things coming up! So pull up a chair, grab a cup a' joe, and let's dive into this Sunday Coffee!
1. Suite life
This week at the Suite, we had some amazing designers! Tuesday had Anya Hindmarch and Novis. Anya Hindmarch is one of my favorites! Her bags are so whimsical and quirky, you can't help but smile! Novis brought also some amazing quirky pieces! They made me want to stroll through a beach town wearing the lobster print dress!
Thursday, we had Lee Savage and Antonio Berardi. WOW! If you need a (crazy expensive) evening gown and clutch combo, pairing Berardi's lacey and gem covered gowns with an architectural, structured, Lee Savage clutch is a match made in heaven! I'm so sad that I only have a few weeks left here!
2. Central Park, Cupcakes, & Cats!
Wednesday, after classes in the morning, Leo came down from school, and met me for a walk through Central Park since the weather this week has been heavenly! We ended up with a sweet tooth, so we hopped over to the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM on the Upper East Side! On the walk back along Lexington Ave, we stopped to look at some puppies in the window of a pet store, until we saw the sign that said they had kittens! (If you didn't know, I LOVE CATS) I got to hold this little white kitten that was so adorable and snuggly! It broke my heart to hand him back!!
3. Chick-fil-a, & MORE cats!
Friday, Leo and I had made plans to go the a Cat Cafe called Meow Parlour in Chinatown. They have about ten cats that they care for, and you can pay $5 per half hour to just spend playing with, and petting the cats! Most were very social, and I loved getting to play with them! The cafe part is separate (I'm sure having ten cats is against a few health regulations) so you can order coffee, tea, or pastries and they'll be brought over from the cafe, to the cat parlour! Such a cool idea! And if you fall in love with one of them, they're all adoptable from the rescue group KittyKind! Topping it off with Chick-fil-a made it my ideal date, haha.
No, not the flying elephant, the neighborhood in Brooklyn! DUMBO is such a quaint area, and so much quieter than busy Manhattan! We took the train over to do a photoshoot at a crazy colorful wall, and have lunch at Juliana's pizza! The view of Manhattan from the water was just stunning! Not a cloud in the sky! Such a fun afternoon!
And that's about it! Today will be filled with homework, blog work, and probably a few episodes of White Collar!
