Sunday Coffee

Sunday Coffee - Southern New Yorker - Audra Koch

It's about time to re-start this weekly post! Especially because I'm finally settled back into the swing of New York life (and let's be honest, my life here is way more interesting than in Texas...) If you're not familiar with "Sunday Coffee" it's essentially a week-in-review or life-update post where every Sunday I'll write a little bit about what I've done the past week that may (or may not) be interesting!

1. Blogger and the Brand

Monday night (directly after 9 hours of classes) I headed down to the East Village for an event hosted by Ombre Digital called Blogger and the Brand! Essentially, it was a networking event for bloggers and smaller brands to connect with each other, as well as hosting a small Q&A panel with the social media editor for Marie Claire, Kelly and Courtney from the blog Mimosas and Manhattan, and a influencer marketing manager all taking about different aspects of blogging, how to best grow a following, and how to work with brands in a way that stays true to yourself! Overall the night was awesome, I got to meet so many fun NYC bloggers, and had a great time!

2. NYFW & Craze App

New York Fashion Week is finally over, and it was fun while it lasted! One of the show venues was a few blocks away from where I live, and I'm not going to lie, walking to work is a lot more fun when there are photographers snapping your picture (also makes you put a little more thought than usual into an outfit)

Tuesday morning I made a little pit-stop into the Craze App offices for a hair and makeup session with Alessandra and Sherinne, as well as getting to play around with their new fashion app (launch date TBD!)

3. J.Crew Life

It's so hard to focus on whether or not all the buttons on a pile of folded shirts line up when you're constantly surrounded by gorgeous clothes and cute dogs that customer keep bringing in, but so far I'm loving working at the J.Crew Flagship store on 5th Ave! You can bet you'll be seeing a lot more J.Crew items in my future style posts! Here's what's first on my wishlist:

4. Brunch & Soho

Friday brought a well deserved chill morning, grabbing brunch at Cafeteria with my friend and photographer David, and then walking down to Soho for a quick outfit shoot. Now I'm spending the rest of the weekend catching up on blog work, school work, watching Gilmore Girls, and going to actual work! (#wildcollegestudent)

Have a great week!

xoxo,

Audra
