Have you ever ran into a store to buy one $20 item and walked out with your wallet crying but your makeup bag making the heart-eyes emoji? Me, right now. Since chopping off my hair, I needed something to add a little texture and volume, so I ran over to the Birchbox store in Soho to grab a bottle. However, while perusing the shelves, I spotted a mascara that I loved... and then the bronzer by the same brand.... and then a new concealer... and then I walked out very poor but very happy.
I got this as a sample in a previous Birchbox, and as soon as I saw it on the shelves, I snatched it up! This still has crazy length and amazing separation (if you like a lot of volume, look elsewhere) I've been using nothing else lately!
The obsession with cream products continues.... I was a little weary of this bronzer, since it's pretty dark at first glance, but applied and blended in with fingertips, it's the easiest and most natural looking bronzer I've ever used.
The biggest struggle with being fair is trying to find concealer. An undereye concealer is supposed to be a shade lighter than your skintone, but it's difficult to find one that's even the same color! Finally, while walking around the store, an associate pulled this pot from RMS and I was hooked! Great coverage, easy to apply, stays all day, and has a shade light enough for us crazy-pale girls!!
Finally, the actual reason I went to the store. I tried out sprays by Oribe, Amika, Oaui, and Klorane, but I ultimately decided on the Living Proof version because it wont break the bank, it has a great scent, and it does its job well! I spray this into my wavy-ish hair every morning and ruffle it up before pinning the top half back for a I-woke-up-like-this look.
