It's been a wild few days! Between both working and attending NYFW shows, seeing tons of my blogger friends, and battling the ever-unpredictable NYC weather, I'm both exhausted and exhilarated! (and we're only halfway done!)

I've gone through so many stages of makeup routines. From putting on a full contour and cat-eye every morning to going 'minimal' and wearing nothing but concealer and mascara, and everything in between. But the thing I love about makeup is there is no wrong answer (except blue eyeshadow or too-dark foundation, those are always no-no's). You can wear as much or as little, play around with bright colors or keep it neutral, whatever you want!
I've been blogging for over three years now, and I've definitely learned a thing or two about the whole blogging thing. There's so much to learn when you first start out as a blogger, and I'm still learning more everyday! But one of the main things I was always focused on was how to get my content in front of the people who would want to read it, and I thought I would share a few tips I've learned on how to do just that!
If you're just starting out, of course your traffic will be slow. and that's OK! It takes time to build a readership and to develop lots of content, but for newbies and seasoned bloggers alike, here are a few easy ways to make sure you're getting as much traffic as possible!
If there's one thing I can say I'm an expert on, it's managing an insane schedule. At one point, I was taking 20 credit hours of class, working an internship 3 days a week, working a retail job 3 days a week, and keeping up with SNY! AND managed to make a 3.9 GPA that semester! I have since calmed down a little bit, but here's some of the ways I use to balance an insane schedule:
Where did summer go?? I can't believe fall is coming up so fast, but the good news is that fall is the best season for fashion! Rich suede fabrics, flowy dresses with light jackets, berets paired with blazers, the options are endless!
I had been thinking of trying eyelash extensions for awhile now. I mean, who doesn’t want to wake up with long, full, curled lashes every morning? Well I just found the best affordable eyelash extension salon in NYC, and I’m addicted to my new lashes!!
Blogging is a weird job. It's a giant mix of writing, photography, graphic design, marketing, a little tech knowledge, and a whole lot of determination. And what do bloggers get back in return? There are more abstract benefits like having a creative outlet, connecting with other bloggers (and making friends!) and building something you're proud of.
However, for a lot of bloggers, it's a business. That business comes with sources of income. Some are monetary, some are not, but they're all payment for a service rendered. That's why I get a little ticked by this concept of 'free stuff'.
You cannot imagine the amount of times I've heard the sentence 'I want to be a blogger for all the free stuff!!' or had a friend / family member feel inclined to help themselves to something I've been sent by brands.
I'm getting ready to enter my Senior year at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and after being here for three years, I've learned a few things about the school. It's very different than the big state-schools that a lot of my friends go to, and while I love being here, and would never want to go anywhere else, it's definitely not for everyone.

Finding an apartment in Florence is the #1 most nerve-wracking thing about the FIT Italy study-abroad program. Since there is no student housing in Florence, you have to find an apartment on your own, and that can be scary! Especially having to to it in under 3 days!
But don't get freaked out, it will all be okay! Many have done it before you, and there is a simple process that will get you a great apartment! Here is step by step what you will do, and some tips to make it easier!
